About this Mapplet

This utility can import image files geo-referenced with ESRI world files as overlays over Google Maps. Only native browser image formats e.g. JPG, PNG, are supported. For better location accuracy, the images should already be in non-projected geographic lat,lng or Mercator projection coordinate systems.

Sample images and world files can be downloaded from here for use with this Mapplet. All have a EPSG:4236 or Geographic (lat,lng) coordinate system.
